HELLO ~ I HAVE PUT THIS PAGE TOGETHER AS A HELPFUL REMINDER TO ME ON HOW TO MAKE A WEBPAGE WITH A BORDERED BACKGROUND AND THEN PUT TEXT ON IT SO THAT THE WORDS WILL NOT RUN OVER ON THE LEFT OVER THE BORDER. LIKE THIS !

HOW TO USE A BORDERD BACKGROUND PROPERLY

NOW YOU CAN SEE THE DIFFERENCE ON HOW NICE THIS LOOKS.

YOU NEED TO MAKE A TABLE AND EVERYTHING YOU PUT ON YOUR PAGE GOES IN THE TABLE. JUST LIKE THIS PAGE WAS MADE.

HERE IS THE CODE TO USE WHEN YOU ARE USING A BORDERED BACKGROUND AND NOT HAVE THE WORDS WRITE OVER THE BORDER ON THE LEFT.

One way, if you don't care if pc/computer people can see it is to do this ~>, it looks great on webtv. IT REQUIRES A BLANK - CAN NO SEE GIF. THIS IS MINE. IF YOU WANT ONE OF YOUR OWN YOU CAN TRANSLOAD THIS ONE TO USE, BUT DO NOT LINK TO IT. I PUT A BORDER AROUND IT SO YOU COULD SEE NOTHING!

AND YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN BACKGROUND WITH A BORDER, THERE ARE PLENTY OUT THERE.

ALSO NOTE THE WIDTH AND HEIGHT OF THE BLANK IMAGE. THIS IS THE IMPORTANT MEASUREMENTS.

NOW YOU CAN CCP THE CODE HERE IF YOU WANT, JUST CHANGE THE BACKGROUND AND IMAGE TO YOUR OWN.

<html> <head><title> PUT THE TITLE OF YOUR PAGE HERE </title></head> <body background="ADDY OF BACKGROUND HERE" bgcolor="COLOR" text="COLOR" link="COLOR" vlink="COLOR" logo="PUT ADDY OF IMAGE HERE, IT WILL SHOW UP WHEN YOU PRESS INFO OR IN YOUR FAVS FILE"> <table width="90%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> <tr> <td width="120"> <img src="http://members.tripod.com/~kmartkat/images/spacer-transparent-no_can_see.gif" width="120" height="1" border="0"> </td> <td> <BR><BR> PUT YOUR WHOLE PAGE HERE ~ TEXT AND IMAGES! <BR><BR> </td> </tr> </table> </center> </td> </tr> </table> <br> </center></body></html>

BUT !!! to make it computer pc friendly, and webby happy too, This would be the code to use:

just a note; in the beginning in your body code do not put your background image in the body code, put it separate afterwards as a table background image.;

<html><head><title> NAME YOUR PAGE HERE </title></head> <BODY BGCOLOR="color" TEXT="COLOR" LINK="COLOR" VLINK="COLOR" LOGO="AN IMAGE HERE"> <center> <table width=544 background="YOUR BORDERED BACKGROUND HERE"> <tr><td colspan=2 width=544> <center> <table width=544 background="image.jpg"> <td width=50>&nbsp;</td> <td width=494>The contents go here</td> </table> </center>

AFTER SEARCHING ALL OVER THE INTERNET LOOKING FOR THE CODE OF HOW TO DO IT, THIS LOOKS TO "EAZY"!

byeeeeee!!!!!
